ABOUT THE CLIENT:

Terri had been in her Corvallis home for a few years when she reached out to us. Now retired, she devotes much of her time to meaningful volunteer work—and her days are anything but quiet. Like many clients, she had been working from her dining room table and felt the frustration of not having a dedicated, functional space.

Her home office had become a catch-all room, and she was ready for a change. Terri wanted a space that felt calm and purposeful, with better organization and a layout that made it easy to find what she needed. In addition to creating a workspace that supported her busy schedule, she also wanted a place where she could enjoy practicing music—something that brings her joy and balance.

Her ultimate goal? A beautiful, organized office that supported both focus and creativity.

THE CHALLENGE:

Terri needed more than just a pretty room—she needed a space that could support her active lifestyle, feel emotionally grounding, and eliminate the stress of clutter and chaos. THE PROCESS:

Our Full-Service Custom Decorating follows a clear, collaborative process designed to give every client the confidence to move forward without having to manage a million little details!

• STEP 1: Discovery & Design Exploration Session. We started with an in-home meeting to walk through the space, understand how Terri wanted the room to feel and function, and talk through the design vision. We discussed layout challenges, storage goals, musical elements, and how to create a space that felt both restorative and productive.

• STEP 2: The Conceptual Design Phase. We curated mood boards and a color direction grounded in wellness and simplicity—neutral tones, biophilic touches, and timeless finishes. • STEP 3: Procurement & Project Management. We refined the layout, sourced furnishings, incorporated smart storage solutions, and added design details that aligned with both her daily needs and long-term lifestyle. This phase ensured that every piece had a purpose—and the overall look was cohesive, classic, and calm.

• STEP 4: Installation & Styling. On installation day, we brought the entire design to life—placing each piece, styling each surface, and revealing a fully transformed space.
